David attended the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where he completed a law degree. Upon graduation he attended the College of Law, Guildford, obtaining a postgraduate diploma in legal practice.

David qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and in 2007 became a partner in Borneo Linnells and more recently in Harvey Ingram Borneos.

He is a Duty Solicitor and has Rights of Audience in the Higher Courts (Criminal). He is a member of the Solicitors’ Association of Higher Court Advocates and the Criminal Law Solicitors’ Association.

David regularly attends at the Magistrates’ Court and Police station. He is renowned for his attention to detail and dedication to his clients. In particular, he has specialist knowledge of the Youth Court and has been a representative on the Milton Keynes Youth Court committee.

In addition to this, David has expertise in dealing with those charged with sexual offences including rape, sexual assault, making/possessing indecent images of children, voyeurism and outraging public decency. He also has wide knowledge of cases involving Sexual Offences Prevention Orders and was the instructed solicitor in a leading case on this difficult topic. David has also represented clients in appeals to the Independent Safeguarding Authority regarding individuals disqualified from working with children and vulnerable adults.

When not working, David is an avid sports fan. He regularly played football and cricket before accepting the passage of time and now mainly enjoys sport from the comfort of the sofa. He is a life-long Ipswich Town fan and England Cricket supporter.
