Chris qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has specialised in family work ever since, with an emphasis on cases involving children. Chris is passionate about this sensitive area of law.

She became a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel in April 2007 and specialises in care proceedings acting for both children and their parents. She has a wealth of experience in dealing with complex cases involving the local authority, including non- accidental injury.  Chris undertakes her own advocacy wherever possible.

She also regularly acts for relatives who seek to become involved in care proceedings as an alternative to children being placed outside their birth family.

Chris deals with special guardianship order applications and can also assist in cases concerning adoption.

She is an accredited member of Resolution in respect of private law children work and domestic violence, and undertakes complex cases concerning residence and contact. She is also experience in international relocation cases and has a keen interest in supporting those who find themselves the victim of domestic violence.

Outside of work she has a keen interest in health and fitness and has recently developed an interest in running.
